Considering our love for flowers, naturally we find a way to infuse flowers into nearly everything. So does our friend Gabi Valladares of By Gabriella. And, this week is no different. In fact, Gabi stirred up a fall-inspired coupe cocktail with - you guessed it - fall flavors and some dried rose petals
"Is it just me or does bourbon make everything feel like fall? Well, good news for us all - it IS fall! It felt like it would never get here, but now it is and it already feels like winter is right around the corner."
"Don't worry, we won't mention the 'w' word again. Not, at least, until it's actually here. Back to the cocktail! Bourbon can be an acquired taste, and I've really come to love it. Give me a good bourbon cocktail and I'm happy. I think I like them so much because I generally eat and drink quite slowly, and if I'm drinking bourbon, I'm most likely sipping on it. That's a strong spirit to drink quickly!"
"And, as you'd imagine, this is a cocktail for slow sipping. It's fairly strong considering nearly everything in it is alcoholic. Let's just say the Fall Maraschino Bourbon is a cozy cocktail for sipping on at home. Doesn't that sound so great? A chilly evening at home wrapped in blankets, sipping on a fall-inspired floral cocktail, and snacking on some cheese - because cheese is the best."
If this piques your interest, here's how to make your own!
