Last week, we had our Lovely Lilies event at Carrie Nation Cocktail Club. We start all of our restaurant events with a cocktail demonstration, and this class's selection didn't disappoint! We all tried the Old Cuban, which is like a mojito with a dark side.
Check out the recipe below and give it a try at home!
- 1/2 oz dark rum
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- dash of bitters
- fresh mint leaves
- Prosecco
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle your mint leaves.
- Add ice, rum, simple syrup, lime juice, and a dash of bitters. Shake well.
- Strain into or cocktail coupe. Top with prosecco and a fresh mint leaf.
