We’re showing you how to make your own pumpkin vases, with a few bridal tips and tricks along the way!
Prep Your Pumpkin:
If your wedding theme is light and elegant, white pumpkins may be the perfect centerpiece for you — they add a subtle seasonal flair without the vibrancy of the standard fall orange. However, we also love orange pumpkins for their eye-catching appeal.
To create a pumpkin vase, simply carve an opening in the top of your pumpkin and clean out the inside with a spoon. Use the pumpkin as a container for a real vase (a mason jar works great) or you can line the inside of the pumpkin with a plastic bag.
Prep Your Flowers:
A great way to add your flowers is by preparing an English hand-tie bouquet and adding them directly to the vase inside of the pumpkin. White pumpkins with light green filler, some white roses, pale pink spray roses and dusty miller as an accent creates a sophisticated look. While orange pumpkins can be filled with deeper hued flowers, accented by leaves and berries.
You will have created a vase that will not only be beautiful to look at but will add some seasonal flair to your tables. To elevate the vase to a centerpiece, we love the idea of surrounding the pumpkin with a variety of miniature pumpkins and candles.
Pretty perfect for fall, right?
