Beyond the Vase: 5 Unexpected Ways to Display Flowers

October 21, 2016

We're getting a little creative on the Alice's Table blog today! While your cupboards may be filled with an assortment of vases, its always fun to use something out of the ordinary to display your beautiful blooms. We're sharing 5 of our favorite ways below!

Antique Boxes

We love using antique boxes in a front doorway or in any outdoor space. You can easily put bouquets into vases, and place the vases into the boxes for easy cleanup.

Mason Jars

Mason jars are a classic. They go with everything, and you probably already have one in a kitchen cupboard. Tie a bow around the jar or decorate your jars for a personalized touch.

Lightbulbs

This might take you by surprise, but old lightbulbs can be recycled as vases. They create a unique setting for delicate flowers, and can be easily hung to create wall displays.

Tea Cups

Using tea cups to display mini bouquets is a wonderful touch at bruches or dinner parties. These displays are exceptionally easy to create, and you can use a variety of antique tea cups for a more unique centerpeice.

Pumpkins or Gourds

If you want to get real crafty, try using a pumpkin or gourd as a fun and festive vase! We recently wrote a DIY post on how to create your own at home!
