10 Beautiful, But Easy Holiday Decor IdeasDecember 6, 2017
While we love a good DIY project, during the holiday season we are al about the joyous life so we have some strict criteria that we stick to:
We can master the craft the first time (with as little hot glue as possible, please and thank you!).
It appears far more elegant than the actual time commitment involved.
We can do it cozied up in front of the TV with a glass of wine in hand!
So, to help you celebrate in style, we’ve selected 10 of our favorite holiday DIY’s that will leave your house mess (and stress!) free this season.
1. (Needle Free!) Holiday Garland
Make use of those bobbles that didn't quite fit on the tree with these (needle-free!) unique holiday garland DIY’s. Whether you’re a Pinterest pro or aspiring minimalist, these ideas will deck your halls and supply some holiday cheer this holiday season.
2. Ice Lanterns
Get a boost from mother nature (or your good ol’ freezer) and try your hand at one of the oldest DIY’s in the book. We never grow tired of these beautiful ice hurricanes. Place your candles in the snow, or on your front stoop surrounded by evergreen, for a warm welcome into your home this holiday season.
3. Birch Wrapped Arrangement
You’ve got 5 minutes left on the oven timer and your doorbell is about to start ringing, but the holiday décor fell short to the overdue vacuuming – don’t worry we’ve got your back. Create a beautiful winter tablescape by wrapping birch bark (found in your backyard or local craft store) around glass cylinders, and secure with knotted twine. Fill the vases with flowers or trimmings from the holiday tree for an effortless centerpiece that looks far more elevated than the 5 minutes you spent crafting.
4. Cranberry Wreath Place Cards
We couldn’t resist these delicate cranberry place cards from Say Yes. Perfect for an upcoming holiday party, this sweet, yet simple DIY adds a personal touch any guest will appreciate.
5. Evergreen Arrangements
No tree? No problem! Fill a vase with evergreen clippings for a beautiful Christmas tree. Add some festive cheer by wiring ornaments and fairy lights throughout the branches. Already have your tree in place? Create two arrangements to place on either side of your front door, for some outdoor cheer – no ladder required!
6. Winter Wonderland Pinecone Ornaments
While glitter can sometimes be more pain than beauty, we just can’t say no to a little glitz and glamour during the holiday season. Plus, if you’re day two into winter break, and the kiddos are already restless, this DIY is a perfect project to involve them in! Tie velvet ribbon to the top of your sparkly cones to hang on the tree or as a mantle decoration to hang amongst the stockings.

Tis’ the season of endless holiday gatherings, so there’s nothing we love more than a simple hostess gift we keep in our back pocket. These Cinnamon Stick Candles will take less than 10 minutes to whip up, and smell divine throughout the entire winter season. Pop one in a gift basket, or pair with our DIY Floral Napkin Rings for a rustic dinner party ambiance.

Nothing says you’ve got your holiday-party game together, more than a florist-worthy winter arrangement – that you, yourself put together!
