Alice’s Table, the company I launched just over a year ago, helps women across the country launch their own "sip and do" flower businesses under our brand, so I spend a lot of time thinking about how to help other people start their own businesses. We give entrepreneurs tools and training, but ultimately it is up to the individual to make their business a success in their market. 

Taking the plunge and starting your own business can be frightening! It takes a lot of courage and tenacity. But it is the most rewarding thing when you see your business begin to grow and thrive. There is nothing quite like building something from an idea into a growing, revenue generating company. I will never forget the first few months of my business and look back on them so fondly. I think I aged five years in six months, but it was worth it.
