Cold and dreary winter weather got you down? Grab a friend and join us for a colorful, fun and creative floral arranging workshop at The Chopping Block! Purchase a glass of wine or bottle to share from The Chopping Block’s hand-picked wine list or sip on a mimosa while you learn all about blooms. At the end of the afternoon you'll take home your arrangement, along with tips and tricks for transforming store-bought blooms at home.
Purchased tickets but something came up? You can transfer your ticket to another class as long as you contact us at least 48 hours before the event. Please note we do not offer refunds per our refund policy.
What To Expect
The flower arranging can take anywhere from one to two hours, depending on the complexity and format of the arrangement. Alice’s Table provides aprons for you to wear for the duration of the event. Working with flowers can be messy, so make sure to wear something you won’t mind getting a little dirty.
What Should I Bring?
You don’t need to bring anything out of the ordinary with you - we provide the flowers, vases, and tools you will need to create your arrangement.
About the Venue
The Chopping Block, Chicago’s largest recreational cooking school and gourmet retail store, offers guests a large slate of demonstration and hands-on classes, as well as wine classes, private cooking parties and corporate team building events.
Your Host: Elizabeth Greenberg
Hello! My name is Elizabeth Greenberg. I live in the suburbs outside of Chicago with my amazing family. I happened to come across Alice’s Table on Instagram and fell in love. I knew it was the perfect creative outlet for me. Combining my love for flowers, my passion to entertain and my creative flair. Outside of my Alice’s Table office you will find me on the soccer fields watching my daughter play or attending Cheer competitions with my other daughter who loves cheerleading. And let’s not forget about my two sons who are attending Indiana University in Bloomington, IN and North Central in Naperville, IL. A few of my favorite things are hanging out with family & friends, cupcakes, dahlias, a glass of wine (or two), date nights with the most amazing husband & hiking with my family. I look forward to meeting you in one of my workshops!
