Alice’s Table welcomes the contracted services of independent service providers/consultants as Hosts for a variety of event hosting needs.

Our Hosts bring their incredible personalities and subject matter expertise to group events through premium live streaming experiences. The ideal service provider for our wine experiences is a sommelier or wine expert who is comfortable confidently leading a group through a class from start to finish, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their subject matter, quick on their feet, and possesses a bit of star quality.

Wine Hosts will teach interactive introductory-level tasting journeys and must be able to answer a wide range of questions about wine in a live class format, including but not limited to wine regions, grape varieties, wine storage, food pairings, serving wine, and proper glassware. Alice’s Table is looking for certified Sommeliers (Certified, Advanced, or Master) or individuals with the ability to demonstrate expert-level knowledge in wine.

• Interested independent contractors should also have experience delivering highly-rated classes, sessions, or tutorials, preferably via an online platform; be skilled at honing the flow of your classes to maximize guest engagement, satisfaction, and overall experience; have a good understanding about and flexibility with the nuances and nature of live, virtual events; a professional presence that translates well over video to captivate and engage audiences of all sizes; Ability to think on the fly/adjust naturally and confidently if something doesn't go according to plan
• Part of the assessment process for this consulting opportunity will include a series of virtual auditions/demonstrations.
• Social media following in the food and wine space a plus!
• Must be based in the United States
