DIY Floral Monogram

September 1, 2016

This DIY project brings together two of our favorite things: monograms and flowers. It's also a great way to keep the house bright and cheerful as summer quickly comes to an end.

Use these simple DIY monograms in any college dorm, at a baby shower, or as elegant home decor. You can even create your wedding monogram - best of all, they will stand the test of time!

They couldn't be easier to create, plus we love the option of using faux flowers to help make them last longer. Be sure to share pictures of your DIY floral monogram and tag us on Instagram (@alicestable)!

What You'll Need:

  • Chipboard letter or cardboard cutout of your choice
  • Hot Gule Gun
  • Scissors
  • Faux flowers of your choice

Step One:

Cut the stems off the flowers so you are only left with the head. We suggest using a variety of colors and sizes. Smaller flowers tend to stick better and don't hang over the edge of the letter too much.

Step Two:

Glue the flowers to the chipboard, filling as much space as possible. Be sure to use a hot glue gun otherwise the glue takes too long to dry and you will be left with mess.

Step Three:

Let the glue dry, trying not to move it until all the flowers are secure.

Step Four:

Find a spot to hang your floral monogram!
