Dawn DeVine

Hi & Welcome to Alice’s Table with Dawn DeVine.

I am a 30+ Army veteran who is passionate about coaching, teaching and mentoring on all levels. I am trained in Project Management, Event Planning and most recently completed International Etiquette and Protocol Certification at the Protocol School of Washington, here in the DC Metropolitan Area.

I am a native of Cleveland, Ohio and attended Kent State University, as a Communications Major and was commissioned into the Army in 1988. My first military tour was in Hawaii and I have extensive experience in the Asia-Pacific Region and lucky enough to travel around the world 2x in one year when assigned to the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on his authorized aircraft. I have decorated the White House for the annual Holiday display and was on an episode of TLCs DC Cupcakes: Operation Cupcake in 2011. I am an accredited summit speaker and was even hand selected to be a member of the Official party participating in the Atlanta Veterans Day Parade in 2016. I completed 20 months in combat and earned the Distinguished Defensive Service Medal while deployed to the U.S. Embassy, Islamic Republic of Pakistan - working on one of the most important missions in history. I am an active member of Support Military Foundation, Inc., and strive everyday to embrace and support our military members and their families (past & present), as they transition and reintegrate into our home town communities, across the nation.

Mom and I are roommates here in the DC Metro area and are learning how to co-exist now that I am recently retired (Oct 2019) from the Pentagon. We keep busy with our 3-four legged pups and even travelled to Spain to adopt them! I am so excited to get out there to teach, network and #sharethelove with my fellow #ladybosses so we can grow Alice’s Table to infinity and beyond!
