Spend some one-on-one time preparing a beautiful spring centerpiece using fresh flowers with your favorite sidekick (young or not so young--they'll always be your baby!) Learn pro tips that you can carry with you into the rest of the blooming year. Each duo will create one special arrangement together. Enjoy refreshments (something light and sparkly for the Moms courtesy of ONEHOPE Wine with Sarah Kurtz, something tasty for the youngsters) while you work. The most celebrated NYC bakery cupcakes in chocolate and vanilla will be also served. What's your pick? Chocolate or vanilla? Rich buttercream frosting, oooh la la. Enjoy the Momosa bar AND get some sparkle stands fairy hair by Suzanne Malarcher! Purchase as many hair strands of sparkle as you like. After the workshop spend some time enjoying downtown Leesburg. Make a day of it by having brunch at one of the many quaint eateries, shopping the many boutiques for unique finds or use the town's historic buildings as a backdrop for lovely spring photographs. For children 6 years old and above. There are also prizes for the Moms--you are in for a real treat! Details to follow.
What To Expect
The flower arranging can take anywhere from one to two hours, depending on the complexity and format of the arrangement. Alice’s Table provides aprons for you to wear for the duration of the event. Working with flowers can be messy, so make sure to wear something you won’t mind getting a little dirty.
Purchased tickets but something came up? You can transfer your ticket to another class as long as you contact us at least 48 hours before the event. Please note we do not offer refunds per our refund policy.
What Should I Bring?
You don’t need to bring anything out of the ordinary with you - we provide the flowers, vases, and tools you will need to create your arrangement.

Your Host: Angela Rabena
This Maryland native has called Northern Virginia home for over 20 years. She is the mother of three children. She became very passionate about health and fitness after the birth of her children and the passing of her mother from ovarian cancer. Angela is a fitness instructor in Ashburn, Virginia, trained in many modalities (barre, Pilates, CrossFit). Beside her fitness passion, she enjoys international travel. She loves to visit historic landmarks, outdoor food and flower markets, and savor the specialities of each country she visits. "Have passport, will travel" she will tell you. At 47 she considers her life in full bloom. Angela is excited to be a part of Alice’s Table because it allows her a creative outlet, which she felt was missing over the years as a stay at home Mom. The workshops are a great way to integrate Angela’s passion for human connection and healthy living. Angela enjoys being a host to friends and family in her home. She feels that she can extend her ability to create a warm and enjoyable creative experience during the workshop. Angela is a natural teacher and looks forward to teaching other women some new skills and provide them with a creative outlet. She also hopes to empower other women to launch their own small businesses.
