Alice’s Joyous Life Roundup

November 16, 2018

For the past week HQ has watched in disbelief as so many of our Exec’s communities have been torn apart by the horrific fires throughout California. And while we are deeply saddened to see the effects of the fires, we have been reminded everyday all of the love and support in this world. Community and togetherness truly make a difference, and so many amazing people and companies have proved that this week.

What I Love From Around the Web…

One of my favorite companies Parachute is donating new linens, towels and more to families who are starting to rebuild after the loss of their home.

Baby2Baby is distributing essential items to children affected by the ongoing fires. You can contribute by purchasing from their registry.

My sister in law works for Airbnb, so I was so excited to hear that they are offering firefighters and evacuees a place to stay for free. If you live in California, learn how you can help your fellow community members here.

To help residents and emergency personnel stay safe and informed, Comcast and Verizon have together opened 43,500 WiFi hotspot, in addition to free calling, texting, and data to anyone who needs it during the recovery.

A Parting Note

On behalf of our Execs, venues, event hosts, and community, thank you for your continued support. Wishing you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving with your friends and family!
